CNG will stay a niche market unless more stations are put out so one can at least station hop.

Hmmm, putting the responsibility of maintenance and possibly repair on the individual?

If the bifuel pickups now being rolled out by Ford, GM and Chrysler prove to be economical, cost justified and practical for the average consumer, then we will take a good hard look at acquiring one the next time we need to buy a vehicle. If we do acquire a bifuel vehicle, it would seem to be safer and more practical to refuel the CNG vehicle fuel tank at a commercial fuelling pump where you can also fill up the gasoline fuel tank at the same time than to have a CNG compressor at home.

Natural-Gas Cars to Get Home Fueling, Honda has a CNG vehicle on the market for quite a while now – Honda Civic GX. Get a refill kit for the home natural gas pipeline and fill it up there. If you are traveling, know where your refill stations are and plan according. There are many online sites that have CNG refill stations located across the US for people that have to refill their CNG vehicles. Plan your trip with those stations on the route. As more and more vehicles are built to use natural gas OR converted over to natural gas, more natural gas will be used and the price will go up, just like the morning sun. Don't expect natural gas to stay low for very long, the trend for all fuel prices is always up and up! It does Not matter if you have to heat your house with it either, higher natural gas prices coming. An article on here said that less natural gas is being produced because there is NO profit to keep drilling and producing natural gas. Less CNG Supply, Higher NatGas prices coming! Whatever the size or shape of the vehicle, Produce and ‘Drive’ vehicles with high MPG, are very safe, reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money. The price of fuel at the pump is too high! XII/XXII/MMXII!

Consider the recent explosion in Indianapolis. Not yet proven but most likely caused by a natural gas leak. I’m not having any of that stuff around my house!!

That's a good place to start but public infrastructure is essential to the success and mainstreaming of the CNG technology...

These home based filling adapters have been available from most utility companies for years. Natural gas vehicles and home based filling are old news as are CNG vehicles and they are not worth the purchase but all the clowns will jump on the bandwagon like they di 10 years ago and find out they are not so great. They need to bulid a new engine that is specific to CNG and not use the conversion kits to make a gas engine run on CNG, not good!

I know one thing for sure. This sounds like a very BAAAAAAAAAAAAD idea. People are not allowed to re-fuel gasoline in their yard. CNG is just about a billion times worse. Lots of bombs going to go off.
