I didn't know if you read down on the Volt Forum and caught my post recently. I have pasted it below. It goes to your costs issue but you can see the big gains in a short time. Here is how the Volt, and other EV's and PHEV's are getting more competitive. The 2016 Chevy Volt costs 18% less than the 2011. The 2015 Toyota Camry costs 14% more than 2011. Let's see how dramatic these cost adjustments are: In 2011 the Chevy Volt cost $20,085 more than the Toyota Camry. In 2016 the Chevy Volt costs $10,200 more (than the 2015 Camry). Look for inflation creep to be the friend of EV's and PHEV's as manufactures continue to reap savings from lower priced and higher capability battery power, while standard ICE vehicles continue to rise. The several Volt price drops have resulted in almost making up for the $7,500 tax credit, falling short by only $390. The "Visitor" must be from "Gas Buddies" themselves. There are posts every day from most main towns in B.C., as I am sure is common from all Provinces and states. I would assume a gas station company (like Petro Canada in our province) pays for their stations to be posted.
